Stark – Peacefully at her residence in St. Marys on Monday,    August 30, 2010  Kathleen G. “Kay” (Johns) Stark age 77 years. Beloved wife of the late C. Ford Stark (1996) and predeceased by her first husband Stanley Knowles. Dear mother of  Steven Stark of London,  Sherri Reimer and Rod of London,  Scott Stark and Sherril O’Hara of St. Marys. Proud grandmother of Melissa, Allison, Kayla, Brittany and Kevin and great grandmother of Jayden. Dear sister of Marjorie Hodge and Howard, Marie Fisher all of Exeter. Dear sister-in-law of Evelyn Johns of Lucan. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Clarence Johns and the former Beatrice Biggs, brothers Norman Johns and his wife Jean, Gordon Johns and a brother-in-law Ben Fisher.

At Kay’s request her remains have been donated to the Anatomy Dept. of the University of Western Ontario. Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation at the L. A. Ball Funeral Chapel,         7 Water St. N., St. Marys on Friday, September 3, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The family will gather at 6 p.m. for a private service with Rev. Pirie Mitchell officiating.In her memory donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and may be made by calling the L. A. Knott  - Suddenly at her residence in Downie Ward on Thursday, August 26, 2010 Betty J. (Brodhagen) Knott age 64 years.       Beloved wife Bill Knott for 38 years. Loving mother of Earl Dietrich and Evelyn of Waterloo, Cindy Waugh and Daniel Kirschner of Cambridge, Cheryl Boucher and Gilles of Oshawa. Proud grandmother of Samantha and Shawn, Rebecca, Brandan and a great grandson Aden. Dear sister of Myrtle Steckly, Marlene Fraser, Jack Brodhagen all of Stratford, Donna Brodhagen of Mitchell, Judy Jepson of Woodstock. Dear daughter-in-law of Irene Knott of Downie Ward. Dear sister-in-law of Margaret Brodhagen of Stratford,                   Joan Brodhagen,  Anna Sulllivan and Bill all of St. Marys,             Arthur and Arlene Knott, Bob and Loreen Knott all of Stratford, Thomas and Cathy Knott of London, Douglas and Helen Knott of Stratford, Barry and Karen Knott of Downie Ward, Gordon and Jen Knott of St. Marys. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Edward Brodhagen and the former   Mary Harburn, brothers Earl, Lorne, Bernard, Lloyd and                      a sister Linda.

At Betty’s request cremation has taken place. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the  L. A. Ball Funeral Chapel , 7 water St. N.,  St. Marys on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at the St. Marys United Church (85 Church St. S.) on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at        11 a.m. with Rev. Pirie Mitchell officiating. In her memory donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Gregory  -   Peacefully at the Mitchell Nursing Home, on Sunday, August 15, 2010. Gilbert G. Gregory, age 67 years of St. Marys and formerly of Toronto. Predeceased by his parents Courtney G. Gregory  and the former Adele L. LeRoy, a sister Jennifer, a brother Paul and Uncles Jack Gregory and Harold Gregory and his wife Juanita. He is sadly missed by numerous relatives and friends.

At Gilbert’s request cremation has taken place.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the L. A. Ball Funeral Chapel, 7 Water St. N., St. Marys. A reception to follow. August 4, 2010  Mark  A. Lawson of Thames Centre age 42 years. Beloved husband of Vicki (Poole ) Lawson. Cherished father of Rachel, Amanda and Jessica. Loving son of Dorothy (Johns) James of Tillsonburg and Allen Lawson and Pat Champion of St. Marys. Cherished grandson of Marg and Ken Baker of Shipka.             Loving son-in-law of Donald and Grace Poole of Woodstock.       Dear brother of Mike and Kelli Lawson of London, Marcy and Peter Frehner of St. Marys. Dear brother-in-law of Karen and Scott Savelle of Stratford, Jodi Poole of Woodstock. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
