Peacefully at St. Marys Memorial Hospital, with his family at his side, on Monday, March 8, 2010 Donald E. Rudd of Thames Centre, age 77 years. Beloved husband of the former Marion L. Meadows for 54 years. Loving father of Bonnie Lynn Rudd of Thames Centre. Predeceased by his parents Ernest Rudd and the former Gladys Barker and a brother Jack Rudd.
Resting at the L. A. Ball Funeral Chapel, 7 Water St. N., St. Marys on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Irene Richardson officiating. A reception to follow. Interment will follow in Dorchester Union Cemetery. Peacefully at St. Marys Memorial Hospital, on Friday, March 5, 2010 Darlene C. (Nelson) Hinge age 72 years of St. Marys and formerly of Calgary, AB. Beloved wife of Wayne Hinge. Loving mother of Randall James O’Connor (Michael) of Virginia, Patricia Lynn Hansen and Stephen Francis O’Connor both of Calgary, AB., Sherri Leigh Simpson (Ron) and David Joshua Wayne Hinge all of Lucan. Loving mother-in-law of John Szekley of London. Proud grandmother of Cheryl (Chris), Riley, Jesse, Joshua, Meghan, Brandon, Logan, Jason and Jordan. Dear sister of Shirley Hutton and Reg of Arkona, Ferne Hogg and Alfreda Barron both of St. Marys. Dear sister-in-law of Jim Ney of Sebringville. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by a daughter Lezlie Marie Szekley, her parents Alfred Nelson and the former Kathleen Sweeney, a brother Francis Nelson, a sister Donna Ney, a daughter-in-law Janice O'Connor,brothers-in-law Lorne Hogg and Orville Barron. Cremation has taken place.
A Service to celebrate her life will be held at the L. A. Ball Funeral Chapel, 7 Water St. N., St. Marys on Wednesday, March 10, 2010. There will be a visitation from 12 noon until the time of the service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Pirie Mitchell officiating. Elda Blair (Frook) Brocklebank
Peacefully at Wildwood Care Centre, St Marys Ontario, formerly Walkerton- Hanover area, March 1, 2010 in her 96th year. Predeceased by husband Allan 1971, sons Larry 2006 and Brian 2008. Survived by son Rae (Barbara) Lakeside, Ontario and daughters - in - law Elaine of Woodstock, and Margaret of Guelph, brother- in- law Clare (Margaret) Brocklebank Mississauga, 9 grandchildren, and 12 great – grandchildren. Cremation has occurred. A family memorial will be held at a later date. Mary Josephine (Kersey) Taylor
Peacefully at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, Mary J. (Kersey) Taylor in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her husband Frank E. Taylor (2005), parents John and Rachel Kersey, brothers and sisters Elgin, Gladys, Ora, Ross, Doris and Louise. Remembered fondly by a brother Donald Kersey of Sarnia; children Rebecca (Rea) Mahaffy, Joseph (Ingrid) Taylor;
grandchildren Denise (Gary) Fluttert, Ellen (Greg) Bettger, Rachel (Daryl) Mahaffy-Hern, Matthew Taylor, Amy (Trevor) Taylor- Grills. Together with Grandma and Grandpa they enjoyed many adventures, trips to Lake Huron and “forbidden” treats. Nine great grandchildren also survive, Emily, Mariel, John and Ben, Nathalie and Ava, Isaac and Maggie, Macklin.
